Mattingly Charities’ held its 4th annual event benefiting underserved youth on January, 10, 2019 at the newly renovated City View at Sterling Square.

The Find A Way event hosted over 200 attendees for an entertaining evening to raise funds and awareness for Mattingly Charities and the organizations that it supports.

The program featured a lively discussion with Don Mattingly and special guests, Harold Reynolds and Joe Piscopo, who later gave a live musical performance.

The event also included live and silent auctions with one-of-a-kind items to benefit Mattingly Charities.

fund a need - YMCA of Southwestern Indiana

With the help of generous event attendees and a matching grant from the William E. Schmidt Foundation, over $33,000 was raised to fund a community need at the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana.

The Y’s newly constructed building located in downtown Evansville, set to open in September of 2019, will include a STEM Lab and Enrichment Center to help the youth in our community engage with technology in new ways . The proceeds from the ‘Fund A Need’ portion of the event will equip the stem lab and enrichment center with items such as smart boards, 3D printers, advanced microscopes, digital whiteboards, and other programming materials.

Special Guest Joe Piscopo

Joe Piscopo is a comedian, actor, musician, writer and a nationally syndicated radio talk show host. He is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live in the early 1980s where he played a variety of recurring characters.

Thanks to his widespread portrayal of hilarious original characters and celebrity impersonations, including The Sports Guy, Doug Whiner, David Letterman and with the utmost respect, Mr. Frank Sinatra, Joe has become a household name.

Today Joe is the host of the Joe Piscopo Show on 970 am The Answer, the most listened to radio show in the greater NY area.


Special Guest Harold reynolds

Harold Reynolds is a former professional baseball second baseman and well-known television analyst, working for MLB Network and Fox Sports.

During his 12-year career as a Major League Baseball player, Harold spent 10 seasons with the Seattle Mariners and a year each with the Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Angels.

He is currently the lead studio analyst for MLB Network, providing nightly commentary on all Major League games and coverage for special events such as the Major League Draft, the All-Star Game and World Series.
